I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Economics and Management ‘Marco Fanno’ @University of Padova, Italy, where I also got my PhD in 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My research lies in the realms of political economy and economic geography. On one hand, since my PhD I have been studying the ways past and present institutions shape current regional economic development. On the other hand, during my postdoc at HEC Montreal\/McGill I have been researching geography of innovation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both institutional changes and innovation are the fundamental sources of economic instability. Thus, my goal is to develop unified theoretical framework that can account for long-term changes in economic development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
